Let’s face it; San Diego is a town for tourists. The city draws hundreds of thousands of visitors year-round to Sea World, the Zoo, the Wild Animal Park, beaches, and Comic-Con. The Hyatt Regency Mission Bay is a property everybody needs to pay a little more attention to. The Blue Marble Spa inside the Hyatt was named for the most famous picture taken of Earth from space, and was recently awarded one of the Top Ten Spas by Organic Magazine. It’s an all green space, only eco- friendly building materials were used, and all the product lines are organic or natural.

Once inside the spa, clients feel immediately swept away into an oasis of calm. The changing and waiting rooms offer all the small details that make the spa experience special—a steam room, robes, slippers, lockers, hot tea, and snacks.

For Mother’s Day, the spa is offering their newest treatment called “De Stress--Earth Journey”. It’s a two and half hour with a 60 minute “de stress” massage, and organic manicure and pedicure $216--no woman can resist.

The hotel offers spa guests free valet parking and full use of the three pools, Jacuzzi, water slide for those interested, workout facility, and lunch is available poolside.

This summer the spa will offer a Couples package, where guests can come spa while the hotel will provide “Camp Hyatt” babysitting free.

Locals are given a 15% discount year-round, and special discounts are available through Yelp, Groupon, and Face Book.

Blue Marble Spa has a menu that includes facials, massages, body scrubs, manicures and pedicures, and waxing.

Just off the 56 freeway is the Grand Del Mar. Recently lauded by Condé Nast Traveler as one of the "World's Best Places To Stay, and the spa was recently dubbed Spa magazine's "Favorite New U.S. Spa”, this place is a place to hang out and get your relaxation on.

Now through June 30^th, the spa at the Grand Del Mar is offering a Spring Refresher package for $180, which includes an anti-aging facial, lunch, and the full use of the five star amenities.

Year-round the spa and hotel offers a huge menu of treatments in 11 rooms and one couples room; from traditional Swedish massages to the unconventional MLS (Manual, Lymph Drainage), a treatment said to accelerate healing, reduce inflammation, improve skin, and treat puffy eyes and dark circles.
