But every fanboy and fangirl needs to blow off a little steam at night. C'mon, get Happy Houred. If you came to San Diego just as the convention kicked off, you missed everything half-off on Monday at La Puerta; and the same deal on Tuesday at Confidential. But there are still bargains around for cut-rate imbibing and discounted vittles. Look for Iron Man Tony Stark downtown at these bars and lounges on these days: Wednesday The Yard House Restaurant (1023 4th Avenue) hoists up Happy Hour from 3-6 p.m. Domestic pints are $3.50; and it's half off pizzas and selectedappetizers, including Buffalo wings, spinach cheese dip and fried chicken strips. Bare Back Bar & Grill will serve you $3 well drinks, select dafts are half off and appetizer specials are available from 4-7 p.m. Thursday Rockin Baja Lobster (310 Fifth Avenue) is feelin' happy in the bar area from 3-6 p.m. Theyserves up $3 well drinks, and 50 percent off select appetizers, like chicken tenders and guac and chips. Dr. Strange might like to know this special lasts from10 p.m. to close. Friday You don’t have to see a concert to enjoy happy hour at the House of Blues (1055 Fifth Avenue). Look for Wolverine howling for half-priced tapas and daily drink specials. Info: 619-233-5979 Saturday What fun--get $1.50 beers (limit two, with purchase of appetizers, which are 50 percent off) at Broken Yolk Cafe. The deal goes on from 6 p.m. to midnight. Confidential hauls out its half-off all drinks special for Saturdays, from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday Donovan's Steak & Chop House cuts prices back from 4 to 7 p.m. on signature cocktails and martinis. And--listen closely--mini prime filet steak sandwiches are served from 4-6 p.m.
